I have to admit that since the Pine Needle closed in March business has been slower than usual, steady but slower.  I learned how to quilt at the Pine Needle and miss all the Pine Cones and all the referrals.  Since I had a free weekend a few weeks ago I pulled out this scrappy quilt top I made ages ago out of Cotton and Steel Bluebird fabrics.  To be honest I didn’t really care for it but I don’t like having unfinished  projects.  I used one of my favorite designs called Waves and Pearls.  Not only did I get to use up a bunch of fabric making the backing but now I have a really beautiful quilt that I love!
